Members must undertake to support the objectives and aims of the ADA and are required to attend the AGM providing written reasons for not attending.
The ADA asks that, wherever possible, members use other ADA members as part of their team and to recommend this to productions when they are looking for crew.
We ask that you make a commitment to not undercut a fellow ADA member when negotiating pay. Also to support the Committee’s recommendations and ADA alerts with regard to non-payers and dangerous working practices.
We consider it very important to be an active member by responding to the ADA’s requests for information and contributing to its future strength by being involved.
Members may be asked to respond to our AD survey to help us gather data and information about the current state of our department. The response is kept anonymous and is purely for our internal research.
Annual subscriptions for new members joining from April 2018 are as follows:
If existing members change grade, they will be charged the new annual rate
Subscriptions are only accepted by annual bank standing order.
All those restarting a lapsed membership will be charged a £35 admin fee.
Subscriptions being more than three months in arrears will mean loss of membership.
We ask that members notify us three months before their renewal date if they wish to leave the ADA. It would also be helpful to know their reasons for leaving.
